Studio Stylist & Shoot Lead

An exciting opportunity to join Sweaty Betty as we set up our first in house Photography Studio!
The Photography Studio team will be responsible for delivering amazing ecommerce imagery and creative photography in house - including model shoots, still life and video content.
We are looking for a talented Stylist who thrives in a busy studio environment and has the skills to elevate our ecommerce photography output across both activewear and lifestyle categories. This is a critical role for the business, and you will be a key part of the team who will shape the future of SB photography!
You will be experienced at styling on set, making selects and working closely with photographers.
You will report to the Head of Visual, with a dotted line to the Senior Photography Studio Manager.
Your SB Journey:
- Ensure product is always showcased and styled to its best, working alongside the photographer on set to create imagery of the highest standard across all ecommerce and creative content shoots.
- Responsible for achieving ecom shoot targets alongside the photographer, whilst ensuring the quality and consistency of imagery remains high and guidelines are followed.
- On set you will style the looks, support with directing models / providing art direction, making selects, ensuring we are working with pace and running an efficient system.
- Style product still life and flat lay shoots, able to gather references and work on set to arrange beautifully crafted compositions.
- Prep styling rails weekly for both ecom and creative shoots signing off looks with key stakeholders.
- Work with our Head of Visual and Product team to create and lead the styling vision for the website, creative shoots, social and advertising content.
- Create styling guidelines for the brand seasonally.
- Liaise with buying teams on product drops and intake dates to ensure we are shooting the correct products in the right timings.
- React to sales and styling feedback from key stakeholders.
- Responsible for keeping the styling pieces relevant and on trend by continually researching and ensuring we have everything needed.
- Follow creative briefs and collaborate with the team, contribute ideas and share references, keeping up to date with brands who are innovating.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Photography Studio team to create and maintain a positive working atmosphere.
Must Haves
- Strong experience styling both model and beautifully crafted still life photography.
- Awareness of trends and takes inspiration from runway shows and premium brands to inform styling decisions to ensure we are relevant, accessible and engaging.
- A strong portfolio in model and product photography across an array of clients / brands, ideally within editorial and e-commerce environment.
- Good knowledge of Capture One to make selects & code files. Good understanding of retouch process and file management processes.
- BA Hons in creative subject.
- Understanding of our customer and commercial targets.
- Exceptional eye for detail, with a good understanding of contemporary photography and an elevated taste level.
- Highly motivated with a can-do attitude, organised with strong communication skills.
- A willingness to learn and try new things to innovate our photography.
- Works well under pressure with an adaptable attitude.
- Video shoot experience nice to have.
