Senior Online Trading Manager (German Market)

As Sweaty Betty continues it’s global expansion, we are looking for a fluent German speaker to join our eCommerce team as Senior Online Trading Manager.  As we continue to elevate our eCommerce offering, you will be pivotal in pushing the boundaries to ensure success in the rapidly growing German market.

Your SB journey:

• Managing and trading our German website, driving conversion and revenue
• Compiling accurate daily, weekly and seasonal reports on trading and KPI performance
• Devising trading, promotional and merchandising strategies, in close collaboration with performance marketing, to achieve and exceed targets
• Responsibility for annual forecasting of German online performance
• Initially project managing the translation of the site into German working with the performance and marketing teams, and external agencies, to ensure consistent brand tone of voice, and effective customer journey at every touch point
• Ongoing responsibility for German translation and localization of the site, working with the content, digital product team and external agencies to deliver identified changes
• Effective online visual merchandising to maximize sales and conversion
• Displaying an in-depth, customer-focused knowledge of German online market
• Ownership of German delivery and returns proposition, working closely with operations team to ensure we remain competitive and cost effective
• Working closely with wholesale team to align with Zalando trading
• Developing strong collaborative relationships across all departments in the Support Office and especially the eCommerce, marketing, wholesale, buying and merchandising teams
• Management of a Online Trading Assistant (German Market)

Must Haves

• At least 6 years of experience in a similar ecommerce role in a retail or consumer facing brand, preferably in the German market
• Fluent in German and English
• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferable
• Experience using Google Analytics, Power BI and Google Optimise
• An analytical and questioning mentality with excellent excel skills
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise heavy workloads and project manage 3^rd parties
• Proactive and positive approach to problem solving
• A dynamic team player with great interpersonal skills
• You enjoy working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
