Retail Supervisor - Harrogate - 22 hours per week (Maternity Cover, FTC 6 months)

Your Journey

As a Supervisor in a Sweaty Betty store, you will support the team to live by the SB values and act as the go-to person in the absence of your manager. You are cool, calm and collected under pressure. Never be afraid to step in; you make it your priority to be a fountain of knowledge on products and standards.​

Responsible to your core, you can be relied upon to assist with administrative and operational duties and general store security.  As a lover of SB, you help to bring the brand to life and welcome the chance to spread your passion for the brand both inside your store and outside the community. ​

Please note: this role requires a commitment of contracted hours per week, including some weekdays and weekends. There may also be some evening work.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support the store management team in all aspects of running the store, including; opening and closing the store, cash-handling, stock control, merchandising and maintaining a clean and well-presented store, at all times​​

  • Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating a positive attitude and commitment to product knowledge​​

  • Ensure exceptional standards of customer service​​

  • Take ownership over stock management and executing visual merchandising guidelines, contributing towards and delivering on store KPIs​​

  • Maintain compliance with company policies, including health and safety regulations and inventory management​​

  • Drive the store’s success by being an ambassador and supporting local marketing efforts

Must Haves

  • Experience working in a customer-facing role​

  • Flexible and adaptable, you are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment ​

  • Confident to take the initiative and handle situations as they arise​

  • Passionate about developing yourself and others, whether inside or outside SB​

  • Excellent communication skills​

  • Effective relationship-builder​

  • Flexibility to work on the weekend as well as on weekdays, evenings and holiday periods​
