Power BI Developer (6 Month FTC)

Your Journey

This newly developed role will report in to the VP of IT and as the first Power BI specialist consultant, you will be responsible for improving reporting capability across the business. We are on an exciting journey to make Sweaty Betty mobile and this role will be key with migrating legacy reporting tools into cloud-based reporting solutions. Gathering detailed reporting requirements so that we can streamline departmental reporting to give the business the information they need quickly. With a customer focused, positive, people-oriented, and highly organised attitude, you will use your experience to help identify areas where Sweaty Betty can improve our automated reporting needs. Working closely with external partners as well as members of the team across all levels of the business, you will be passionate about ensuring the business is always online and supported.

Your SB Journey:

• Work with department teams, identify reporting requirements within the business and support the business by ensuring the appropriate skills are available
• Delivery of customer-focussed solutions
• Resolve reporting problems & issues in a timely manner according to priorities
• Develop new ways of reporting data from current and future systems to improve the efficiency of the business
• Ability to be a technical lead on reporting projects, from planning through to delivery

Responsibilities include:

• Creating Power BI reports
• Replacing excel based reporting with Power BI solutions
• Working closely with departments to gather requirements
• Recommend solutions around Data Warehouse Theory, Data Architecture and Data Science

Must Haves

• Cloud computing O365, Azure
• Proficient in Power BI report and dashboard design
• Expertise in DAX, M, SQL, MDX and R
• Expert knowledge in Excel
• Experience in ERP system data structures
• Strong visualisation experience
• Good commercial & senior stakeholder skills
• Experience in building and maintaining Data Warehouses
• An interest in learning Data Warehouse Theory, Data Architecture and Data Science
• Documentation
• Project Management
