Internal Auditor - Retail (6 Month FTC)

We are looking for an experienced Retail Internal Audit Professional to join our growing finance team of 12 here at Team SB. You will be bordering on obsessive about ensuring the audit execution is completed efficiently and accurately. Working closely with retail teams across our UK & US stores, you are ready to hit the ground running; familiarising yourself with our practices and communicating changes to the wider business to ensure an ever-effective audit process.

Reporting into the CFO, your SB journey will include:

• Reviewing current practices and using your previous experience and knowledge to identify risks and areas of improvements with particular focus on all financial procedures
• Identifying appropriate retail controls and procedures and working with the retail management team to implement these
• Reviewing and improving the stock control process
• Implementing an effective and thorough auditing process for the retail stores
• Reviewing and improving the Finance Team controls
• Communicating to the wider finance team and retail teams
• Producing regular reports and quickly identifying areas of concern

Must Haves

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the retail sector (Essential)
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• An analytical and questioning mentality
