Interim Finance Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an Interim Finance Manager to join us on our mission to empower women through fitness and beyond by providing accurate and timely financial analysis that informs key business decisions to drive the profitability of Sweaty Betty. 

This is a 6 month FTC.

Your SB Journey:

What You’ll Be Doing

This role is the required to help complete our month-end process by consolidating multiple data sources to create an accurate P&L to a tight month-end deadline

  • Consolidation of the P&L model at month-end including data from multiple systems (Business Central & SAP) as well as multiple channels (Wholesale US, Hong Kong etc)
  • Work closely with the Senior Commercial Finance manager to analyse and interpret wholesale data for our US customers out of the Wolverine group SAP system
  • Consolidate the wholesale business financial reporting each month to ensure accurate data is provided to the Wholesale business team
  • Build relationships across the finance team driving continuous improvement of our processes and systems allowing us to gain a better understanding of our actual performance, and improving our forecasting accuracy
  • Be a key user of Power BI in the finance team, looking for opportunities to use readily available data to enhance our reporting and commentary

Must Haves

  • Fully Qualified Accountant with PQE from a commercial finance setting (Multichannel experience essential)
  • Previous recent temp experience within a Multichannel business.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytics skills (Advanced Microsoft Excel skills essential), with experience in preparing analysis, insight and recommendations
  • Prior exposure to Power BI would be advantageous
  • A naturally curious and engaging individual, who can step back and consider the bigger picture
  • Ability to embrace ambiguity and adapt methods of thinking with a can do’ and positive attitude
