We are seeking a highly organised, customer-service focused Systems Administrator to join our small, friendly IT team. You will be bordering on obsessive about ensuring business systems are always available to all users and continually supporting all servers and network infrastructure, with guidance from the senior technicians. You will be trained to take on a range of responsibilities and will contribute to the full cycle of our work from User Support, Operating Systems, Active Directory Services, Hosting & Cloud Services and Networking Technologies. Your SB Journey:
- Operating, supporting and monitoring Desktop Infrastructure services, products and platforms to serve a variety of user needs
- Identifying and resolving technical problems ensuring that the work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with department guidelines
- Helping with implementations, deployments and changes
- Preparing and setting up of new desks/computers
- Managing the IT inventory across all sites and stores
Must Haves
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience working with and troubleshooting operating systems including Windows 7/10 and Mac OsX
- Basic understanding of computer network concepts
- Knowledge of Microsoft desktop products including Office 2013/2016
- Understanding of Active Directory and Office365
- General computer hardware and networking knowledge
- Good communicator whether face-to-face, telephone or electronic interaction
- Some experience with the following Windows Server 2008/2016 is a plus
