Are you passionate about fit, fabric and quality?  A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our talented Garment Technology team to become the fifth member. Reporting to the Garment Tech Manager, you will be supporting the team with day to day tasks, while growing your own knowledge and experience. We are looking for a fun and driven individual, who wants to learn and become part of a team pushing boundaries of fashion and activewear!

Your SB Journey will include:

• Supporting the Garment Technologists by preparing for fit sessions, attending the meetings and following up meetings by creating comprehensive comments for factories and responding to any queries.
• Helping the team to collate and assess fabric testing. Liaise with factories regarding fabric failures.
• Update critical path and tracking spreadsheets to ensure product is delivered on time.
• Working on projects to improve product fit and quality.
• Day to day help and admin within the team, including: organising post, unpacking samples, tidying rails, finding samples for meetings, measuring samples, supporting Garment Technologists in all administrative duties.

Must Haves

·         Basic knowledge of garment construction and pattern cutting

·         An educational background in pattern cutting, clothing technology or production

·         This role could suit a graduate/placement year student or someone enthusiastic looking for a move into the role of Garment Technologist

·         Basic understanding of fabric testing

·         Highly organised with a good attention to detail

·         IT literate, especially outlook and excel
