Full Stack Web Developer

Sweaty Betty are looking for an experienced Full Stack Web Developer to join the team! In this new role, you will work with various internal stakeholders and teams to develop and improve our web application, delivering an exceptional customer journey and continuing to develop best-in-class digital experiences across all devices.

As a key member of the team you will be pivotal to the future of Sweaty Betty, driving growth through our digital channels.

On your SB journey you will have responsibility for:

• Create and maintain new functionality on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud front and backend platform, delivering scalable, reusable and maintainable code
• Follow coding standards and best practice within the development cycle
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Identify, investigate and resolve defects or areas for technical improvement on the platform
• Ad hoc technical support and QA for releases

Must Haves

• Working knowledge of HTML/HTML5, CSS, SASS, LESS, SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, Java, XML, Gulp, Grunt
• Salesforce Commerce Cloud development experience
• Experience working with Amplience
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Experience working with an A/B testing tool such as Google Optimize, Qubit, AB Tasty or Optimizely
• In depth experience of GIT
• Strong understanding of responsive web design and site speed optimisation
• Strong understanding of ecommerce concepts
• Highly organised with the capability to multi-task and prioritise to meet tight deadlines
• Resourceful and proactive in solving problems, recommending solutions and attention to details
• Enthusiastic, self-confident and self-motivated
• Willing to adapt and take on new challenges and driven to continually improve
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field would be good to have
