Digital Marketing Assistant

We are looking for an organised individual who is passionate about number crunching, analytics and strategy as well as ad creation & creative. You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and are excited to contribute ideas, always striving to create the most impactful, engaging end to end digital marketing experience possible. A curious mind, organisational skills & time-management skills are a must.

You will be part of a fun, dedicated Digital Marketing team of 4, our online champions, who are integral for the future of Team SB – first to login and last on the dance floor.

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager and working closely with internal departments, responsibilities will include:

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Analyzing social creative performance on a weekly basis to ensure key performance metrics are being achieved
  • Own inputting weekly performance metrics & spends into KPI documents using data taken from Google Analytics & third parties
  • Assist in the creation of Monday morning reports, which are presented back to the marketing team & circulated to wider business
  • Constantly be reviewing onsite & off-site performance, suggesting optimizations
  • Provide insights on a monthly basis to be circulated to wider teams

Coordination, Creative Briefing & Planning:

  • Coordinating digital and promotional campaigns in line with the marketing calendar
  • Independently briefing and managing the production of all social media/display creative from initial brainstorm stage through to deployment, using data to inform creative decisions
  • Owning end to end user testing for all digital creative
  • Updating digital calendars in-line with seasonal content and promotions to share with third parties
  • Working closely with digital agencies and coordinating weekly tasks to make sure timelines are met
  • Adopt a ‘test and learn’ approach to all performance marketing activities, suggesting different tests to glean insights from

Channel Optimizations:

  • Work alongside digital agency to build and optimize all paid social media campaigns; delivering creative, managing content calendars, querying performance and optimizing campaigns
  • Develop SEO keyword strategy for each market, researching relevant keywords and suggesting optimizations to ecom & brand teams
  • Work closely with the CRM team to make sure email/direct mail communications are integrated across our other digital marketing channels
  • Work closely with digital agencies and Global PPC Manager to create and test PPC ad copy and sitelinks to guarantee promotional campaigns are relevant and commercial

Must Haves

  • A degree with analytical qualities (Science, Maths, Geography, History, English)
  • An understanding of and keen interest in digital marketing channels and tools (PPC, Email, SEO, Affiliates, Social, Display)
  • Experienced with Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Proven time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • B or above in Maths GCSE (or equivalent)
