Development & Communication Coordinator

Your SB Journey:

Training & Development

  • Support the Head of L&D to coordinate all internal and external training, including all diary and resource management
  • Coordination of the annual learning and development calendar
  • Coordination of People learning and development events, including management training, lunch & learns, manager peer groups and skills training.  This includes; diary management, attendee coordination, lunches and preparation of supporting materials and equipment setup
  • Support & engage in the WOW day (Sweaty Betty’s induction day for new starters). Use the opportunity to build relationships across the business and develop new relationships with starters
  • Work with the Head of L&D to review and refresh the WOW Day to make sure information is current and engaging
  • Responsible for other relevant admin; including but not limited to: keeping a log of all training attendees, updating training materials and workbooks, keeping a track of training budget sent, ensuring all invoices are paid, where relevant arranging all travel for attendees

Internal Communication

  • Work with the Internal Comms and Employer Brand Specialist to create new content
  • Support the Internal Comms and Employer Brand specialist with co-ordination of internal messages and regular communications
  • Look after the Communications Calendar, supporting on ensuring we have a balanced flow of information 
  • Responsible for People Team content on the intranet ensuring it is regularly updated and content is relevant
  • Support the Internal Comms and Employer Brand Specialist with coordination of Town Hall meeting (monthly company meeting)

Engagement

Coordinate all People team engagement initiatives including;

  • Supporting the People team to create “Surprise & Delights” and ad hoc treats and events that promote the Sweaty Betty lifestyle
  • Coordinate all wellbeing initiatives including classes, Directors lunches and Directors workouts and being the main point of contact for any external suppliers
  • Coordinate summer and winter launch events and parties, including catering, communication, travel and presentations
  • Lead our internal House Team initiative
  • Coordinate and keep track of Big sporting challenges and Learning allowance requests from all employees
