Reporting to the Head of Content and Social, you will be a passionate midweight copywriter responsible for writing engaging copy across our marketing channels. With at least four years’ experience, your portfolio will be impeccable and demonstrate a real talent for persuasive storytelling.  

Your SB Journey:

  • Writing high quality original copy for multiple channels including emails, social media, website, blogs, product and internal and corporate communications. 

  • Working with the current copywriter to devise brilliant copy ideas in our tone of voice across the business, ensuring all comms are brand-enhancing and consumer-focused. 

  • Working closely with the web team to keep content on brand and up to date. This includes homepages, banners and boxes, editorial features, and the community areas of the site. 

  • Creating and conceiving SEO-friendly content for the Sweaty Betty blog. 

  • Assisting the press team with press releases and lookbook copy. 

  • Writing engaging and accurate product descriptions and product tags that are in line with the Sweaty Betty tone of voice 

  • Supporting long-term strategic content projects. 

  • Developing our brand tone of voice and campaign concepts. 

Must Haves

  • Similar experience of at least 4 years, working within a fashion retail, lifestyle or editorial brand, writing marketing copy and other relevant support materials. 

  • Great brand awareness and an intelligent sense of humour. You’ll be a natural storyteller. 

  • Excellent writing, subbing and editing skills, with a meticulous eye for detail and a strong understanding of grammar and punctuation. 

  • An ability to manage multiple projects and a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment. The nature of the role involves working closely with various stakeholders across the business, so a confident, approachable and considerate character is an essential. 

  • A strong sense of commercial, brand and technical product awareness, whilst keeping up to date with current trends. 

  • A strong understanding of the creative process. You’ll also be a big conceptual thinker. 

  • PC literate with working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office.
