Our Assistant Buyer will report directly in to the Senior Buyer and work closely and collaboratively with the wider Product Team.

Your journey will consist of:

• Supporting the Senior Buyer to build a balanced and commercial range in line with the company strategy.
• Managing the development process in line with the critical path
• Sourcing new season product and negotiate prices to achieve or exceed margin target
• Building an excellent understanding of our target customer and our competitors through store visits and market research
• Working alongside merchandising to ensure ranges are balanced and working to our product strategies
• Strong understand of competitors and being aware of performance trends
• Analyzing and reporting on business performance at weekly trade meeting
• Working collaboratively with Design, Merchandising, Garment Tech & Marketing to develop our performance ranges

Must Haves

• 2 years’ worth of experience as an Assistant Buyer level
• Experience in a Performance based Buying office
• Experience in People Management and managing at least 1 x BAA
• Proficient in Excel
• Obsessive on discovering new sports wear trends
