Application Support Analyst

We are looking for an Application Support Analyst to join the growing Sweaty Betty IT & Systems team in this newly created role. Reporting into the Application Support Manager and sitting within a wider team of 24, your focus will be on supporting the Business Central (ERP) and associated Applications. We are on an exciting journey at Sweaty Betty, having just implemented an ERP, PLM and more. We are poised for future growth and this role will be key in helping to ensure the success of these new tools. With a customer focused, positive, people-oriented, and highly organised attitude, you will use your experience to support the teams in using and enhancing the business systems. Working closely with external partners as well as members of the team across all levels of the business, you will be passionate about ensuring the business is always online and supported.

You will be a primary IT contact point for all business-critical systems and be responsible for making sure our business systems are running as smoothly as possible, minimising disruption. This is a great opportunity for an Analyst to build strong relationships with teams and to define and deliver changes to systems.

Your SB Journey will include:

  • Resolving support queries, either internally or escalating to external support and working closely with the wider business to provide systems & process support
  • Maintaining training materials and, along with the rest of the growing application support team, performing new user and refresher training across the Application suite
  • Working closely with departments to gather requirements and design solutions
  • Working with third-party suppliers to provide changes and fixes for the ERP and other systems
  • Managing third-party support partners against SLAs
  • Support with release management for Applications
  • Coordinating releases with external developers
  • Updating and maintaining documentation related to systems
  • Testing of changes prior to release and confirming successful deployment into live

Must Haves

  • Experience working in retail IT environments
  • Knowledge of Business Central ERP systems is an advantage, but not essential
  • Knowledge of enterprise-wide processes, including product, order and customer lifecycle
  • Third-party management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to translate user requirements into designs 
  • Expert knowledge in Excel
  • Strong visualisation experience
  • Good commercial & senior stakeholder skills
  • Ability to create clear documentation
