The Global Social Media Manager will be responsible for delivering a creative and innovative social strategy. Passionate about fitness and fashion you love to tell stories and push boundaries of creativity. You relish the unexpected and going against the grain but you also know what will inspire and engage active women who love fashion. You will be responsible for developing a disruptive and engaging social strategy which will be measured by growth of our social community.

The Global Social Media Manager role sits within the brand team and is primarily responsible for leading the social strategy from our centre in London. They will work closely with other regions to deliver compelling social content which engages on a local level with consumers in each market.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will be responsible for :

  • Planning: creating and delivering a regionally relevant and engaging social content calendar platform.
  • Storytelling: delivering visually inspiring and engaging copy on Instagram in the SB brand TOV.
  • Growing US IG audience through relevant and localised storytelling that deliver brand objectives and local commercial objectives.  .
  • Working closely with other departments: you will be teasing out stories and showing the people behind the brand. You will be the roving reporter broadcasting behind the scenes on Snapchat.
  • Supporting key marketing campaigns: working to amplify campaigns such as product launches, brand and awareness campaigns finding innovative and creative ways to tell these stories.   
  • Content and asset creation: planning and delivering shoots and additional content where relevant
  • Strategic thinking: developing disruptive ideas that will have high impact
  • Social platform technical understanding: sharing technical understanding of social platforms to enhance internal understanding.
  • Managing one direct report in London

Must Haves

  • A least 5 years’ working in social media for global fashion brands
  • Worked with international markets to deliver relevant and engaging international content
  • A proven track record of supporting or leading social media marketing in this capacity, and producing measurable ROI beyond impressions
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube)
  • Exceptional storytelling ability and creative skills
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting against KPIs
  • An obsession with the worlds of fashion and fitness

A digital native, you will have a clear understanding of the different audiences across each social platform and how best to engage with them and at what frequency. You are a collaborative individual, who is able to deliver marketing objectives, working with a variety of stakeholders while remaining open-minded and adaptable.
