What You’ll Be Doing

Our fabulous Marketing team is rapidly growing and looking for a switched on, fitness mad Social Media Assistant to join our established team of 22, which includes PR, Digital, VM and Content. Reporting in to the Social Media Manager you will be responsible for broadcasting the world of Sweaty Betty to our community and responsibilities will include supporting the delivery of our global social media strategy, growing our online social community and ensuring the Sweaty Betty voice and presence is on brand at all times. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Living, breathing and broadcasting the Sweaty Betty lifestyle
  • Assisting on tailoring communication and content depending on the channel and audience and in line with the marketing calendar and business objectives
  • Working closely with the US team driving global growth of social media channels
  • Building relationships and working closely with Digital Marketing, Ecommerce, PR and community teams to support business objectives and to hit targets
  • Driving social conversations around key launches and promotions through community management and increasing community engagement across all channels.
  • Supporting Social Media Manager to measure against benchmarks to drive campaign effectiveness
  • Working together with the Social Media Manager to act as social advocate within the business ensuring the whole of Sweaty Betty is fully engaged with our social media campaigns.

Must Haves

  • An obsession with the worlds of both fashion and fitness and an avid social media enthusiast that excels at telling stories
  • Ideally previous experience in Social Media working across platforms although this is not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and experience
  • Ability to provide basic levels of data analysis and reporting

Obsessed with fitness, you have your finger on the pulse and knows what’s hot. A fashion sponge, you read all the fashion magazines, blogs and websites and absorb everything to do with our industry.

You will have a clear understanding of the different audiences across each social platform and how best to engage with them and at what frequency. As well as understanding how social has an impact across all other communication channels and different markets.
