Management Accounts Assistant

We are looking for a Management Accounts Assistant to join our growing, dynamic finance team of 12 here at SB. You will be passionate about managing your time effectively to deliver a complete and accurate management accounting service, including assisting in the production of relevant financial information for management and statutory accounts.
Playing a key part within our Finance Team, you will be bordering on obsessive about maintaining a methodical and process-driven approach to your work.

Reporting into the Management Accountant, your SB Journey will include:
- Production of accurate monthly management and financial accounts in accordance with the business timetables, including the income statement, the balance sheet and store by store review and analysis
- Overhead accruals preparation and posting
- Preparing and owning the balance sheet reconciliations across the Group entities
- Ensuring that the annual audit information is completed on time and any agreed actions are fully implemented
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register and quarterly CAPEX reporting
- Other ad hoc reporting/duties
Must Haves
- +1/2 years of experience in a suitable finance role (ideally in retail industry)
- New student/studying up to part qualified level ACCA/CIMA
- Positive, hard working attitude while being adaptable and willing to learn new things every day
