As the IT Support Manager you will be responsible for supporting our existing IT systems and processes across the business. This involves managing outsourced IT support for the Office and our Boutiques in the UK and US, third party development agencies across multiple systems and supporting office users across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role is well suited for people with a strong background in IT support desks in Retail and Office environments. Reporting to the Head of IT and Logistics. This role requires excellent supplier management, support desk management, stakeholder communication and speedy prioritisation and resolution of issues.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

 

  • Managing outsourced IT support teams and acting as service desk owner for the retail division and support office (1st and 2nd line support)
  • Managing POS across the estate including maintenance, support, upgrades and issue resolution
  • Acting as first point of contact for Support Office IT issues, including resolving user IT issues, logging advanced issues with the support team and managing remote access rights for global users
  • Escalation point for stores
  • Sale/Markdown activation in the Retail system
  • Becoming a super user on the EPOS system, establishing best practice/support for the business
  • Daily/weekly reporting on service desk activity and KPIs for the business
  • Managing IT changes requests for stakeholders and projects from requirements gathering through to testing and rollout
  • Creating documentation of changes, processes and user manuals for stores
  • Responsibility for the Sweaty Betty Intranet

Must Haves

  • Experience managing outsourced IT and suppliers
  • Experience managing IT service desks in Retail
  • Experience working with POS and backend systems
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks and projects
  • Proven track record in issue triage, resolution, documentation and process enhancement
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work solo and within a team (internal and external)
