IT Business Analyst

This newly developed role will report in to the IT Change Delivery Manager and be part of the wider team of 5. You will be responsible for supporting and gathering detailed business requirements so that we can develop our investments in key systems. With a customer focused, positive, people-oriented, and highly organised attitude, you will use your analytical and logical approach to help identify areas where Sweaty Betty can automate or improve current manual processes and have this built into our systems. Working closely with external development partners as well as members of the team across all levels of the business, you will be passionate about ensuring these gathered business requirements are translated correctly, suitably developed and tested before release.

Your SB Journey will include:

  • Analyse business requirements, propose solutions and implement changes
  • Support the business in ensuring that the ERP and functional systems meet the requirement of the business in maintaining the integrity of the Data and the Functionality
  • Work with management teams, identify training requirements within the IT systems and support the business by ensuring the appropriate skills are available
  • Delivery of customer-focused solutions
  • Resolve user problems & issues in a timely manner according to business priorities
  • Act as business contact, liaising with our third parties to solve issues with the timely running and accuracy of the data within the systems
  • Develop new ways of working for the system to improve the efficiency of the system and business

Must Haves

  • Experience working as an IT Business Analyst/Support for ERP, CRM, Ecom, POS, Reporting tools or similar IT projects
  • Previous experience of supporting business and IT change in medium scale corporate environments, using agile methods
  • Strong IT/systems use, with good Excel skills and experience of ERP, SQL, Reporting is desirable
  • Ability to grasp strategic direction and concepts quickly and communicate to the business the technical risks and issues, whilst remaining calm under pressure
  • Understanding and experience of the IT development lifecycle and associated process standards and methodologies
  • Working cross functionally to deliver results
  • Be looking to continuously improve with a desire to become a subject matter expert in our core systems
