Email Marketing Executive

We are looking for CRM marketing whizz! Do you love email marketing, analytics and enjoy working to competitive targets and deadlines? Our international Performance Marketing team are looking for an Email Marketing Executive to come and join SB.
As our Email Executive you will manage the execution of all aspects of our Global Email Marketing at Sweaty Betty. You will be a super user on our email marketing platform and have a genuine love for email marketing and analytics. You are passionate about our customer journey, and understand that compelling and engaging communication, will improve metrics and sales globally.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage the Global Email Calendar
- Manage the global email marketing campaigns in line with the brand calendar, aligning with the digital marketing team and communicating plans internally to the business.
- Manage the entire email production cycle including; briefing, creative management, link testing, dynamic content, personalisation and all ad hoc related projects.
- Manipulate data and target emails to key regions and customer segments.
- Develop an effective A/B testing and optimisation plan with ownership for its execution and improving future emails based on findings.
- Manage the browse and basket abandonment programs and all transactional emails, updating these with commercial and relevant content where possible.
- Manage the email programs for new customers that will introduce the Sweaty Betty brand.
- Apply email marketing best practice across all areas and always thinking and searching for innovative new ideas to improve processes, emails and communications through the email channel. Proactively sharing ideas and insight with the rest of the team.
- Regularly seek out innovative new ideas to improve internal processes, creative and communications through the email marketing channel and proactively share these ideas and insights with the rest of the team.
Manage the Email Database
- Take ownership of all data management within our ESP including third party feeds and ad hoc data capture initiatives.
- Manage the forms for signing up new customers to the email database with relevant creative and copy and working with the wider marketing team to improve data capture quality and the volume of new email sign ups, particularly in new and key markets.
- Continually devise initiatives to make sure we are signing up as many customers as possible, particularly with the impact of GDPR.
Reporting
- Report on a daily and weekly basis all relevant global email marketing activity and use the results to optimise and continually improve the performance of SB emails.
- Analyse email engagement to produce insights and actionable next steps, continually improving our email marketing performance.
- Produce regular key reports summarising the health and performance of our existing email customer database.
- Continually analyse data across all reporting platforms in order to develop actionable insights which translate into future email marketing initiatives.
Must Haves
- A minimum of 1 -2 years’ experience in a CRM or email marketing role, experience on an ESP and working on a customer database.
- Experience working in a fast paced, consumer facing environment. Preferably in fashion retail.
- Proven experience of tailoring messaging to target audiences.
- Experience working on Google Analytics.
- Expert in Microsoft Excel.
- A keen eye for detail and meticulous when proofing.
