Our Online Team are now recruiting and looking for a E Commerce Trading Executive to drive the success of all sweatybetty.com channels, including mobile and international sites. 

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the UK & ROW Ecommerce Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that online sales and conversion opportunities are always maximised.

 

Specific responsibilities will include:

 

Trading

  • Supporting the UK & ROW Ecommerce Manager with the day-to-day trading of Sweatybetty.com
  • Delivering sales and conversion targets against budget
  • Focusing on the continuous optimisation of the mobile and desktop sites and working closely with our platform provider to deliver enhancements
  • Optimising onsite search to improve customer experience and conversion
  • Working with the Content & UX team to revise and constantly improve the product conversion funnel from category view to product page and checkout
  • Responsible for seasonal product launches–collaborating with the buying team, creative team & copy writer to ensure product images, product descriptions and merchandising are completed in an effective & timely manner
  • Preparing the sites for sale and seasonal marketing campaigns throughout the year-and partnering with the Digital Marketing team to ensure alignment

 

Online Visual Merchandising

  • Ensuring that product listing pages are effectively merchandised, on brand and optimised and in line with in store visual merchandising strategy
  • Working with the Content team to ensure that all product content is delivered on time, is commercial and accurately reflects both the product & the brand
  • Responsible for maximizing cross-selling opportunities across all categories of the sites
  • Weekly quality control checks to maintain high standards across all sites
  • Work with the PR team to reactively promote all product featured in press to maximize exposure on site

 

Product & Reviews

  • Be a product expert and develop product knowledge in the team with in store training workshops
  • Ensure the product photography and videos reflect the key features and USP’s
  • Work closely with the Copywriter to ensure product descriptions are delivering key selling points
  • Responsible for customer product ratings & reviews tool and reporting
  • Work closely with Customer Care team to gain feedback received from customer correspondence to improve end to end customer experience

 

Systems and Reporting

  • Compiling accurate daily, weekly and seasonal reports on trading performance, including product categories and ranges
  • Highlighting sales and conversion trends against forecast and previous performance
  • Responsibility for ecommerce data feeds (product and customer)
  • Use Google Analytics to help optimize product sales and customer experience

 

Other

 

  • Developing strong collaborative relationships across all departments in the UK & US support Office and especially the ecommerce, marketing and wider buying and merchandising team

Must Haves

  • A relevant degree with a minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar ecommerce role
  • Experience and knowledge of trading in both the US and the UK/ROW retail markets
  • Experience with visual merchandising
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and across different teams
  • Experience with analytical platforms and interpreting data
  • Excellent with excel skills 

You are analytical, strong with numbers and have a faultless attention to detail. An excellent planner and organiser who is great at prioritising heavy workloads. You have the ability to think strategically and understand commercial implications of decisions and actions. You thrive working as part of a dynamic team, have great interpersonal skills and are quick to build relationships.
