Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your SB journey will include:
- Managing the AP team throughout daily and ad hoc responsibilities
- Streamlining AP processes, reconciliations, maintenance of inboxes and relationships with suppliers
- Defining and implementing controls around new supplier set up on Sage and bank, including review of all new supplier forms before they are entered onto the system
- Overall responsibility of the weekly payment run and bank reconciliations, including communicating with the Group FC weekly in advance of the predicted payment run amounts, longer term, 4 week cash flow forecast in line with cash flow requirements
- Month end responsibilities:
- Ensuring the stock and credit card spreadsheets have been completed and reviewed within set time frames
- Ensuring the team’s workload is managed effectively so that all deadlines are met and feedback from Management Accounts is managed and rectified in a timely manner
Must Haves
- 5+ years’ experience
- Previous management experience
- Sage 200 (preferable)
- Strong excel skills
